Alan Nguyen grew up in Kent and started out as a Running Start student here at Green River College. He transferred to Washington State University, where he finished his bachelor’s degree in History and Asian Studies. More recently in his career, he finished a second bachelors degree in IT and Cybersecurity.

Alan started his career as a High School Admissions Representative at Everest College in Bremerton before first beginning his work with international students as the Director of International Admissions at Solomon Christian School in Edmonds. After that, he began advising international students at Seattle Central College and Green River College for more than 10 years prior to joining the advising team here at 91探花.

He speaks some Vietnamese and is eager to work to help 91探花 students achieve their academic and career goals, especially as he can leverage his immigration experiences.
